While I don't have the Trilogy, Metroid Prime Gamecube runs at 60fps at 5120x4224 res, using around 30-40% GPU - on my 1660 & Core i5-9400 system. Ultimately it's a game - you don't owe anyone an explanation for just being honest that you're probably not going to troubleshoot this for hours.įor the record though, yes it should be running better. Maybe I'll strip down all the options to the bare minimum and work my way up from there, to see what makes performance go down. I've tried everything I could think of, but I can't seem to get the level of performance. I dunno what may be happening with Metroid Prime Trilogy. I'm getting locked 30FPS at 4K in Twilight Princess, for example. From the little I've tried, CEMU seems to work pretty well out of the box. But, as I said, I've always had a very rotten luck when it comes to emulating 3D stuff. I chose to keep my games in hopes of being able to emulate them. Just last week I had to sell my launch model Premium Wii U because, again, life decided to throw a curveball at me and I didn't have enough money to solve the issue at the moment. My gaming time is very limited, unfortunately. If I'm not working, I'm doing stuff for work at home or doing chores. When I was younger, I used to spend hours upon hours tinkering to my heart's content. Primehack looks absolutely amazing, and I'm the first to defend the importance of emulators. I think I found my place there, but I came back to PC gaming a couple months ago and I'm trying to catch up as best as I can. Then I had to fall back on consoles as I sold my gaming PC when I needed some cash for an unexpected rough spot. I was a PC gamer for the first 25 years of my life.
